As a first-time home buyer, Tom could not have been more helpful at making a relatively stressful event as simple and seamless as possible. Polite and considerate, he took me on a tour of potential homes as we both learned what I was looking for. He’d point out certain issues to be concerned about, from old wiring to flood zones, in a genuine effort to teach me a few things about home ownership and to narrow down the exact house I was looking for. During negotiations, he was always looking out for my best interest, and was great at finalizing the offer and necessary repairs with the seller and associative parties.
At every step along the way to close, Tom was always making sure I had all my bases covered, and never missed a beat. While my friends and co-workers were buying houses at the same time, I’d always hear them lament the Realtor they chose and how disorganized they were, never following up appropriately and adding to my friend’s frustration. Meanwhile, I would gloat to my friends over the fact that Tom was the complete antithesis of such complacency and irritability. This is a testament to Tom’s character – for if you choose to work with him, you’ll find yourself praising him, too!
